The Victorian Government is improving the way it engages with businesses to procure goods and services through the new Digital Marketplace.
The Digital Marketplace is a central online environment where a range of goods and services can be purchased, and buyers and suppliers can better connect.
[Text reading 'Digital Marketplace' appears on the screen, surrounded by icons showing buyers and suppliers next to each other.]
Our buyers include state government departments, agencies and other authorities.

When government buyers purchase commonly used goods and services from suppliers, they can use the Victorian Government's State purchase contracts and registers.
[Hayley reappears on the screen. An illustration of a computer showing a webpage titled 'State purchase contracts' appears to her right. The text underneath it reads 'State purchase contracts and registers']
State purchase contracts are a collective arrangement with agreed terms under which suppliers can provide specific goods and services.
Registers and panel arrangements list approved suppliers who can sell specific goods and services to government.

Suppliers can apply to be added to registers at any time, while panel opportunities for State purchasing contracts are available from time-to-time.

To get started, businesses need to register on Supplier Hub - a online central location connected to the Digital Marketplace, where suppliers can self-manage their business details with the Victorian Government.

The Digital Marketplace is improving the procurement process for everyone.
