Request for Tender Conditions for use with the Medium Works Contract have been released for use and are available at Request for tender conditions related to construction.
December 2023 versions of standard form contracts and Request for Tender Conditions
December 2023 versions are available at Construction standard form contracts and Request for tender conditions related to construction:
• VPS Minor works contract (December 2023)
• VPS Special conditions of contract for use with AS2124-1992 (December 2023)
• VPS Special conditions of contract for use with AS4300-1995 (December 2023)
• VPS Request for Tender Conditions (December 2023)
• Schedule of Government Policy Requirements (December 2023)
Clauses relating to Building Equality Policy were incorporated to align with policy updates. For help with the Building Equality Policy, email irv.info@dpc.vic.gov.au
For construction consultancy services, practitioners should continue to use the June 2023 versions of the Consultancy Agreements:
- VPS Consultancy Agreement (Long Form) related to construction (June 2023)
- VPS Consultancy Agreement (Short form) related to Construction (June 2023)
October 2023 new suite of standard form contracts
DTF has released a new suite of DTF standard form contracts comprising:
• Minor Works Contract (Short Form) (October 2023)
• Medium Works Contract (Short Form) (October 2023)
• Medium Works Contract (October 2023).
The Medium Works Contract is a contract for works projects involving construct only or design and construct. The short and long form versions support delivery of projects between $200,000 and $20 million (excl. GST) of low to moderate risk and complexity.
Minor Works Contract (Short Form) (October 2023) is aimed at simple procurements up to $200,000 (GST excl.)
The new contracts are accompanied by a Schedule of Government Policy Requirements and Collateral Documents.
These documents are available at standard form contracts for construction.
