Category B: Elevation and Depth

  • LiDAR capture through aircraft, drone, vehicle, pedestrian or watercraft platforms
  • Topographic, bathymetric, photogrammetric and sonar capture methods
  • Point clouds, digital terrain models and digital surface models

Category C: Geospatial Analytics

  • 3D modelling
  • Textured and untextured models
  • Geospatial process automation development
  • Bespoke remote sensing data analysis
  • As-a-service web-based remote sensing data analysis
  • Bespoke feature extraction, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms
  • Commercial off-the-shelf feature extraction, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms
  • Manual feature extraction

What's not covered

This panel doesn’t cover:

  • Building Information Models (BIM)
  • Hardware
  • Professional services for software and hosting services
  • Hosted services, including software as a service (SaaS) and infrastructure as a service (IaaS)

Commercial model

A management fee applies to purchases made through the Geospatial data and analytics panel. Further information is available to registered buyers.

Buyers need to request access to the confidential information system to join this contract.

Buyers that have an existing account to the Confidential Information System can login here.

DTP facilitates panel engagements from scoping through to project delivery. Procurement activities follow goods and services procurement policies and processes, with suppliers contracted by DTP on behalf of the buyer.

How to seek an exemption

Buyers may request an exemption from using the Geospatial data and analytics panel in certain circumstances. Follow the exemptions process on Buying for Victoria. Exemption applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
